Integral center of psychology
Since its origins, Hospital Casa de Salud combines humanization and technique, hospitality and professionalism within the framework of a vocation of service that provides people and their health with state-of-the-art technology.
Since 2006, Hospital Casa de Salud has an agreement with the Catholic University of Valencia for the training of nursing students, medical students (2007) and other professionals in training in all fields related to health sciences. It also contributes to numerous social causes such as the Juan Bonal Foundation and its sponsorship program and improvement projects in third world countries.
All these elements together with a great team of health professionals, the support for research and the close, attentive and personalized treatment of patients make Casa de Salud Hospital one of the Private Hospitals of reference in the Valencian Community.
Dr. Manuel Candela, an eminent doctor in the Valencian society of the time, ordered the construction of the Center: a building that housed two operating rooms, a laboratory and twelve rooms, five of them on the first floor and seven on the second floor.
In June 2006, by virtue of the agreement signed with the Catholic University of Valencia for the training of nursing students, our Center acquired the status of University Hospital. Subsequently, in February 2007, the Agreement with the University was extended to the training of students of Medicine and other degrees within the Health Sciences.
All this, combined with good administrative management, has made the Casa de Salud Hospital a health center of reference in the Valencian Community, for its facilities and equipment and, above all, for the human team that works there.
The Casa de Salud Community also runs an educational center, adjacent to the Hospital, which trains health professionals at two levels: as a Vocational Training School (which offers the Training Cycles of Auxiliary Nursing Care, Diagnostic Imaging and Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory) and as the headquarters of the Faculty of Nursing of the Catholic University of Valencia (UCV San Vicente Martir).
